By making a booking you agree to the following. "The Owner" means the owner of Seal Rock Cottage, "the Guest" the person making the booking, and "the Property" Seal Rock Cottage and its grounds. Short-term let licence number: [number].
All bookings are made on a request basis and are only confirmed once the Owner has accepted in writing and the deposit is paid. The lead Guest must be 18 or over and is responsible for the party. Bookings are for a minimum of seven nights, Saturday to Saturday.
The Property sleeps two and may not be occupied by more than two people. Only infants under 6 months may stay in addition; the Property is not suitable for crawling or walking children, and has no stairgates, fireguards, high chairs or cots. No pets. The Property may not be used for parties or events.
The price is the weekly rate shown at booking and includes all fees. A deposit of [amount] confirms the booking, with the balance due 14 days before arrival; bookings within 14 days are payable in full. Payment is by bank transfer (BACS) to the details on the invoice.
A refundable security deposit of [amount] is held and returned within [X] days of departure, less the cost of any breakages, damage or additional cleaning. Please report any breakage during your stay.
Cancellations must be made in writing to [email protected]. Free cancellation 30 or more days before arrival. For cancellations fewer than 30 days before arrival, [fee to confirm]. We recommend taking out travel insurance.
Arrival from [time] on the Saturday; departure by [time] the following Saturday. Keys are held in the key safe and should be returned there on departure.
Please keep the Property clean and tidy and leave it in a similar condition. This is a no-shoe household, and smoking and vaping are not permitted inside. Please use the coal stove and appliances as instructed. Guests use the Property, grounds and coastal setting at their own risk, and agree to follow the flood and safety guidance in the welcome information, particularly around high tides.
For safety and insurance, the Guest agrees to provide the details requested at booking. This is held securely and used only for the booking.
The Owner accepts no liability for loss, damage or injury except where caused by the Owner's negligence and to the extent required by law. Wi-Fi and mobile coverage are provided in good faith but cannot be guaranteed given the rural location.
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland.
